African Drumming
Class 1 had a wonderful time learning about different African drums and experimenting with the different sounds they make. We went on journey through the jungles and savannahs, making different drumming patterns for the African wildlife.
Outdoor Maths
Class 1 ventured outside to have an outdoor number line, leaf collecting race! In teams of three, the children skip counted in 5s, writing the numbers in chalk on the playground whilst collected leaves and placing them in piles of 5s next to the right number. Active and fun, just the way we like it. Now, let's get those digits the right way round!
