Welcome Letter Sept 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we start a new academic year, I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you all back to school and to a new year of learning at Stratton. It is wonderful to have all the children back at school once again. I hope you all had an enjoyable break and that the children are refreshed, energised and enthusiastic for school and all the challenges that this new school year will bring.

For governors, the start of a school year is an opportunity to reflect on the previous year and plan for the coming year, to ensure our school continues to provide the best education for our children.  Our annual Governance Statement details the work our governing board did last year and the impact of this. It also provides information about our areas of focus for the year ahead. For more information, please visit the ‘Governor’ section of our website.

Stratton Primary School is a wonderful place to learn and all our Governors are immensely proud of the fantastic achievements of those attending and working at the school. The active support of our parents is central to the on-going success of our school and we are grateful that so many parents engage so positively with all aspects of school life. Thank you on behalf of our governing board for your continued support.

As Governors we are looking forward to working with the school team to ensure that we provide the very best education for all our pupils. If you have any queries about the school’s Governance do get in touch via the school office to arrange a chat.

Best wishes,

Sarah John

Chair of Governors
