PTA

Welcome to Stratton CofE Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a friendly fundraising community that aims to provide equipment, facilities and experiences to benefit our children while supporting our School's values and curriculum.

If your child attends Stratton CofE Primary School, or you are a member of staff, you're automatically a member of the schools' PTA.

We - as a fundraising community - strive to enrich each child's learning journey by raising vital funds to provide experiences and resources that the school budget does not cover.

If you would like to help volunteer your time to help raise funds for the school, please do attend one of our informal PTA meetings. Come along - bring a friend or two - get a feel for our community and when you feel confident you could take on a more active role.

Chair - Katherine Head

Secretaries - Charlotte Emerson & Rebecca Gale

Treasurers - Natalie Kingsbury & Ellie Pritchett

2020-21 Report

The Financial Year 2020-2021 was a quiet one for the PTA due to the Covid 19 pandemic however we still managed to close the year with a profit of just over £2000. A successful online Christmas Raffle raised £900 and in conjunction with Stratton Playgroup the PTA received over £500 profit from the Virtual Christmas Market. Many thanks to SJP for a generous donation which enabled the PTA to offer some attractive raffle prizes to boost sales for our online event and a grant from Stratton Education Fund was much appreciated by the school to spend on the library. Throughout the year the PTA also organised a Bags2School collection which raised £249 and set up a link to Amazon Smile which donates to the school quarterly based on customer spending. As the school was closed for a large part of this year there was little expenditure, so the bank balance remains in a healthy position for future investment in the school.

The PTA is very grateful to the continued support from all the staff, parents and children of Stratton School.
