Modern British Citizenship

At Stratton C of E Primary School we are committed to preparing our children for life in Modern Britain.

Guidance from the Department for Education states that all schools have a duty to promote the fundamental British values of:

Democracy

The rule of law

Individual liberty

Mutual respect

Tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

We promote these values in the following ways:

We aim for our children to have an understanding and appreciation of how decisions are made within the democracy which is modern Britain.
