Stratton C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) from September 2021. The position is fixed term for the duration of time that the EHCP is with the school.

 

The successful candidate will:

- under the guidance of the teacher, support the development of reading skills, writing, maths and science

- organise resources for creative activities

- guide and assist the pupil, using own knowledge of the different levels of development and ability

- have good interpersonal and communication skills

- have a nurturing, supportive and positive attitude

- be enthusiastic, hard working, patient, caring and self-motivated

- build positive relations with children, colleagues, parents and governors

 

This is a varied and rewarding role, on a fixed term basis until 31/08/2022, term time plus inset days. Mornings 8.55am - 12.00pm Monday to Thursday.
