Term 1
Week 8
The last week of term has been truly memorable!
We did house netball in the rain which I certainly will not forget! And we all took part in forest school on Wednesday which was very fun! A big well done to Thomas Grant for perseverance with his photo frame! On Friday, some of us got to go on the ruby table at lunch and a certificate for showing excellent ruby power. We also did a very fun computer lesson with Mrs Brown on Wednesday which consisted of us making an online poster about e safety! All in all, it was a very fun week filled with fun activities! An extra special well done to Waisey and Baunton for winning the house netball!!! All in all, a great week and an amazing way to finish the term!!!

Week 7
This week was amazing! We were so excited to meet Ben Miller at Powells school and to watch his absolutely amazing speech! We even got to get our books signed at the end! It was a great way to spend an afternoon! We also went to the literature festival! It was really fun and it was lovely to see the smiles on everyone's faces as we did a escape room inspired treasure hunt! We even got to see the madhatter and help him find his special hat! Mrs Cartwright even got year six a book which we are all enjoying! Overall it was a great week!!!

Week 6
This week we have been doing a lot of fun things,
On Wednesday we had an open morning where we had fun stalls where people were talking about: residentials, cosy corner, music, forest school and so much more! Some of us were also lucky enough to tour parents around and we were all very good ambassadors for the school! In science we made classification keys! It was really fun learning about different plants and their names! Well done to Max and Teddy who got a well earned merit on Friday!!!

Week 3
On Monday we went to the memory cafe and made scones! It was so fun! The people there were great at helping and were very talkative towards us! After they had been baked to perfection, we tried them…they were delicious and the day after we got a lovely card saying thank you and that they hoped to see us again. I really enjoyed it and I think everyone else did as well! It was a great week!!!

Week 2
Last week we did house captain elections! Everybody’s speeches were amazing and the ones that got picked are clearly trying their best to make sport and breaktimes really fun! They got their badges and are wearing them proudly! The librarians also got their badges last week and are doing an excellent job of keeping it nice and tidy!

Week 1
This week, we have been doing plays about Carl Linnaeus, who grouped animals into there catagories. We have also had house captain elections and watched about the famous Greta Thunburg and we are now writing our own speeches about climate change. We are reading, The Final Year, a beautifully written book in verse and Tyger, a story about a mythical tiger! This week has been pack full of fun activities!!!
