It was the first week starting a new year at Stratton School and it was incredible! On Wednesday, when we all arrived, Mrs Cartwright showed us all the new and fun exciting things to do in year 6. We started off with Wellbeing and learned about all different microbes and the whole class breathed on some bread which we have left in different temperatures to see which one grows the most mould. Next, we did handwriting and used different hand gestures and body positions to practice core strength and accurate movement. Now for English, we have been inspired by Greta Thunberg to stand up for what's right and we are now writing to persuade people to take better care of our world. Finally, our teacher is reading 'The Final Year' by Matt Goodfellow and we are all loving it - thank you.
